I have found over the last 12 months that the ProFee product (fee funding facility through Lumley Finance) has been of enormous benefit to the firm. We have trialed it with certain clients who were deemed "suitable" initially and have found that some have warmly embraced the product as it provides them with significant cash flow benefits and also a better relationship with us as their accountants, due to the fact that we have received prompt payment.
Others have not wished to use the product but have paid us more promptly than we feel they may otherwise have done.
We are finding increased acceptance over time of the product. The significant appeal to us is its simplicity and the fact that it is pre-approved for the client. It is simple to use, it is popular with clients and it enhances the reputation of the firm. Most importantly of course, it has significantly increased our cash flow.
I am convinced that over time a majority of our business clients will take advantage of the facility and most of our large fees will be paid within 10 days of rendering. Truly a win/win situation for both the accountant and the client.

We find the ProFee concept to be brilliantly simple. At first we introduced it to our slower payers. It certainly helped clear up our debtors, because even those that decided not to fund, realised that they had no other excuse not to pay our fees. Now we offer it to all our commercial clients.
I'm sure it has assisted in our firm recently winning a couple of quality clients because we were able to package fee payment options. It gives us peace of mind that we are going to be paid promptly and in full, which gives partners and staff greater confidence when working with our clients.

Our arrangements with ProFee has added an extra service offering to our clients. We are happy because our fees are paid promptly (funds in our bank account in a few days) and our clients avoid the embarrassment which comes with chasing outstanding. fees. By approaching "problem paying clients" on the front foot we avoid any deterioration in our relationship.
We have also found that by giving all clients the option of paying by instalments to be very beneficial. Clients who normally pay on time utilise the option when they may be experiencing cash flow difficulties etc. I can only recommend this product to all accountants, it is easy to establish and when used in a proactive manner creates a win / win for all concerned.
